Pregnancy Confirmation Tests & Prices
Beta-hCG Blood Test
700 THB
Measures pregnancy hormone levels in the blood. Pregnancy may be detectable approximately 10–14 days after ovulation, depending on the timing of implantation.
Includes blood test (550 THB) and blood collection fee (150 THB).
Transabdominal Pregnancy Ultrasound
1,300 THB
Ultrasound performed over the lower abdomen to assess an early pregnancy when it is sufficiently developed to be visible.
Transvaginal Pregnancy Ultrasound
1,500 THB
Internal ultrasound that can help identify the location of an early pregnancy and estimate gestational age.
If an ultrasound is performed too early, the pregnancy may not yet be visible. Follow-up blood testing or ultrasound may be recommended.
When Can Pregnancy Be Confirmed?
Beta-hCG Blood Testing
A blood test may detect pregnancy around 10–14 days after ovulation or around the time of a missed period. Testing very early may produce a negative result even if pregnancy has begun.
Early Pregnancy Ultrasound
A gestational sac may become visible on transvaginal ultrasound at approximately 5 weeks of pregnancy, calculated from the first day of your last menstrual period. The timing varies, and an early scan may need to be repeated.
